The 2016 Haywood Community College Medical Assisting Pinning Ceremony was held recently at the college’s Beall Auditorium. Valedictorians were Alicia Blackwell and Ted Williams. Salutatorian was Jeannie Ball.

HCC’s Medical Assisting program prepares graduates to be a key component in keeping busy medical offices and clinics running smoothly. In the field, these graduates have a great amount of variety in their job duties and are cross-trained to perform administrative, clinical, and laboratory duties.
