Haywood Community College’s Small Business Center is now located at 144 Industrial Park Drive, Waynesville. Situated beside the college’s Regional High Technology Center, the former Smoky Mountain Development Corporation location provides current and prospective small business owners easy access to the services offered by the Small Business Center.
“The new 144 Industrial Park Drive location provides the Small Business Center with countless possibilities to serve budding and current businesses in Haywood County,” said SBC Director, Katy Gould. “We are now in a position to have more of a presence in the community, while offering convenient access to one-on-one counseling services, educational seminars, and resources provided by the center.”
HCC recently acquired the Center for New and Expanding Business formerly run by Smoky Mountain Development Corporation. "We are grateful to Smoky Mountain Development Corporation for considering the college to receive such a wonderful gift,” said Dr. Barbara Parker, President of Haywood Community College. “The building offers endless opportunities to promote small business and economic development in our community.”
The new SBC location is an amazing resource to further connect the Small Business Center to the business community and provide easy access for those looking to utilize SBC services.
