The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College in partnership with The Support Center and the Western Women’s Business Center will offer a free Hispanic Latino Business Start Up series in August. “Business Management Basics/Los Basicos de Administracion Epresarial” will be held on Tuesday, August 16. “Intro to Business Finance/Introduccion a Las Finanzas del Negocio” will be held on Tuesday, August 23. “Business Marketing Essentials/Los Basicos del Mercadeo del Negocio” will be held on Tuesday, August 30. All three seminars will be in Spanish and held from 6 until 8:30 p.m. at the Pigeon Community Development Center in Waynesville.

“Business Management Basics/Los Basicos de Administracion Epresarial” will cover some of the basic steps to starting and running your own business, including topics such as legal entity formation and identifying your business model. Esta clase se trata de los pasos iniciales de empezar y administrar su propio negocio, se incluye temas tal comoentidades legales y describer su modelo de negocio.

“Intro to Business Finance/Introduccion a Las Finanzas del Negocio” will cover some of the basics of small business accounting and financial management. Topics such as bookkeeping options and understanding financial statements will be covered. En esta clase hablamos de los básicos de llevar la contabilidad en un negocio, miraremos maneras de mantener sus libros y entender los estados financieros.

“Business Marketing Essentials/ Los Básicos del Mercadeo del Negocio” will focus on some of the basics of marketing your small business, such as identifying and reaching your target market and establishing the right price. Esta sesión se trata del mercadeo de su negocio pequeño, hablaremos acerca de cómo reconocer y llegar a su mercado objetivo y como establecer el precio correcto.
