The Wildlife Club at Haywood Community College will host the Twelfth Annual Wild Game Dinner Friday, February 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Haywood County Fairgrounds.
The Wild Game Dinner is a fundraiser for students. Funds generated during the event will provide the financial assistance needed to attend the Annual Southeastern Wildlife Conclave, support a wildlife student scholarship, and provide additional opportunities for students to learn from and network with natural resource professionals at state, regional and national meetings.
The event will feature door prize drawings, a silent auction and a live auction. The grand prize drawing will be a lifetime hunting/fishing license. There will also be live music and a game and non-game calling competition. Bring your favorite wild game dish, vegetables and/or dessert. Bread and drinks will be provided. Admission is $10 ($5 if you bring a dish). Children under 12 eat free. Please come join the fun and help support our students.
