The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free seminar titled, “Are You Ready to Start a Small Business?,” Tuesday, September 18, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Haywood County Chamber of Commerce.

It's not enough to have a great idea for a small business. This seminar is designed to highlight the critical requirements for starting a business, including topics such as how to test the viability of your concept, identifying and reaching customers, and funding your business for growth and difficult times. It will also challenge you to consider the qualities required of successful business owners like leadership, persistence and resilience. This seminar is best suited for those considering starting a business.

The speaker will be a representative from Asheville SCORE.
