The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free seminar “Marketing Your Business” Tuesday, October 1, 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the College’s Regional High Technology Center room 3021.
Marketing for the 21st century small business is more dynamic and challenging than ever. Discover how to most effectively and efficiently use the many marketing tools available. Gain insight to understand and reach your customer, analyze your industry and business environment and differentiate between branding, advertising and grassroots marketing. This seminar will explore the components of an effective marketing plan.
The presenter will be Russ Seagle. Seagle is the executive director of The Sequoyah Fund, Inc., a Community Development Finance Institution located in Cherokee, NC. He is also the owner of Seagle Management Consulting, a small business consulting and development firm located in Cullowhee, NC. Russ speaks frequently on small business topics, including business planning, time management, customer service and marketing.
