The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a Free Seminar, “Steps to Financial Literacy” Thursday, February 20, 9-11 a.m. in the College’s Regional High Technology Center room 3021. The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Western Women’s Business Center will host this seminar.
Find out how your personal credit affects your small business. Topics will include understanding your credit, how to build it and/or fix it, and its impact on your business. Participants will learn why cash profits should go in the bank first and not in your pocket and business startup funding options. Worksheets and materials will be provided.
Small businesses that fail during the first three years usually fail because they don’t understand financials not because of products or service. This seminar will prepare small business owners of how to deal with money management.
