The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free “Business Plan Bootcamp” Friday, February 28, 9 a.m. -4 p.m. in the College’s Public Services Training Facility, room 9105. This one day, multi-session workshop is designed for the current and prospective small business owner that is interested in creating or strengthening a business plan.  

During this workshop, attendees will walk through each section of the business plan, learn key strategies for development and leave with a greater understanding of the resources available to assist with the business planning process. Bring your idea and/or your business plan and join a team of business experts to develop business plans worthy of competition.

Speaker for this seminar is Russ Seagle, the executive director of The Sequoyah Fund, Inc., a Community Development Finance Institution located in Cherokee, NC. He is also the owner of Seagle Management Consulting, a small business consulting and development firm located in Cullowhee, NC. Russ speaks frequently on small business topics, including business planning, time management, customer service and marketing.
