SBA Offers Disaster Assistance to Businesses and Residents of North Carolina Affected by Remnants of Tropical Storm Fred

In a news release from the U.S. Small Business Administration, low-interest disaster loans are now available from the U.S. Small Business Administration to businesses and residents in North Carolina following the announcement of a Presidential disaster declaration due to the remnants of Tropical Story Fred on August 16-18, 2021.

This news release provides information regarding the impacted counties and loan opportunities available to businesses in these areas.

The SBA will open a Business Recovery Center on Monday, September 13 at noon in Haywood County at our Regional High-Tech Center located at 112 Industrial Park Drive, Waynesville, NC. Operating Hours will be Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm (Noon-6pm on Monday the 13th).

Customer Service Representatives will be available at the Business Recovery Center to answer questions about the disaster loan program and assist business owners in completing their applications.
