1:00 p.m. Awards announced for Recycled Art Contest
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Children’s Reading - Creative Arts Building Room 7316

Rita Hayward, HCC Director of the Regional Center for the Advancement of Children will have a reading of Dr. Seuss’s “The Lorax” and “The Butter Battle Book”. A short tour of the Regional Center for the Advancement of Children will take place afterwards for anyone interested.

Recycled Art Contest

Tuesday, April 22, 2014m 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This contest is for students of Haywood Community College and Haywood Early College. Recycled Art must be delivered between the hours of 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. the day of the event to the 2nd floor Gallery of the Creative Arts Building. Judging will take place, in the Gallery, between 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 2:00 p.m. Awards will be judged based on creativity and ingenuity. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
