This program prepares students to assist in a pharmacy setting through learning with self-paced modules and practical lab exercises.

A career as a pharmacy technician prepares students to assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications and advancing patient safety. This course will prepare students with entry level pharmacy knowledge in community, compounding, and hospital settings.

Immunization & CPR Training

HCC also offers Immunization and CPR training Pharmacy Technicians can also take an Immunization & CPR training course. This 8.5-hour training session (online and in-person) is available for $80. This session includes AHA® CPR training provided by HCC with Immunization training provided remotely by The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
