Diesel Program

Haywood Community College is now registering students for our Diesel Mechanic Program.

 

Program Information

If a hands-on job is for you, our diesel mechanic program might be just for you! This program teaches students how to measure and diagnose problems and repair diesel engines from skilled instructors. Featuring hands-on and classroom experiences, students will learn on the latest diagnostic equipment allowing them to experience the most up to date machinery and be a viable candidate for a career in this industry.

Upon program completion, students will be able to measure and diagnose problems and repair diesel engines. They will also have the knowledge to take the Automotive Service Excellence diesel engine certification test.
