The Office of Enrollment Management strongly encourages students to first contact HCC-Advising@haywood.edu to further discuss options associated with withdrawing and how those options might impact the student’s academic records. This form is for curriculum students only. To withdraw from Continuing Education classes, contact Laura Lubos at lclubos@haywood.edu or 828.627.4669.

Drop vs. Withdrawal

Students are eligible to drop a course before the Census Date (10% mark) to receive a full or partial refund. See academic calendar for dates. Students may withdraw from a course(s) following the Census Date. Prior to submitting this request form, students should understand that there could be academic and/or financial impacts for this semester, and future semesters.
