About Us

Created in 1975, under the North Carolina Non-Profit Corporation Act, Haywood Community College Foundation creates relationships that empower people through education. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible as provided by state and federal laws.

Every gift to the Foundation, no matter how large or small, is gratefully accepted and deeply appreciated, because each gift represents the donor’s expressed goodwill toward the college. Gifts are used in many ways including the following:

Student Impact

I am the only one in my family that has attended college. My continued education would not be possible without your generous donation. Thank you for supporting my education.
I am beyond thrilled to be embarking on the journey to receive my Associates in Fiber Arts from Haywood Community College. Through this education, I hope to not only become a highly skilled fiber artist but find healing and transformation.
My hope is to be able to help protect the natural beauty from a growing society and for the enjoyment of future generations. Your financial generosity has allowed me to be one step closer to my goal and inspired me to help others by giving back to the community.
This scholarship will pay for my books and material expenses and will help me focus on my academic pursuits. Without your donation, I wouldn't be able to fulfill my ambition of becoming a Business Administrator. Thank you for your support and investment in my future.
