Peak Week is July 18-22

Haywood Community College will hold Peak Week July 18 through 22. This week is designed to help new and returning students register for the upcoming fall semester. Students are encouraged to complete the HCC application and the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) before attending Peak Week; however, assistance will also be available on-site.

“While every day at HCC is dedicated to student success, Peak Week is a week set aside to ensure that students are equipped for the upcoming semester,” explains Dylan McFalls, HCC Success Coach. “This is a great time to sit down with your success coach, members of the financial aid team, and other members of the HCC staff with any questions you may have or complete any necessary tasks. Peak Week has been a great success in the past, and we look forward to helping you jumpstart your fall semester again this year!”

During Peak Week, students will get assistance with the admissions application and class registration, meet with a success coach and secure a payment method. All students, whether new or returning, are encouraged to participate.

Students with complete registration and secure payment method will also be entered to win great prizes. Peak Week will be in the 1500 (Hemlock) building on campus.  Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Fall semester classes begin August 15. For more information or those who want to attend HCC and cannot participate in Peak Week, please email hcc-advising@haywood.edu, visit www.haywood.edu/peakweek, or call 828-627-4500.
