High School Art Exhibit

Haywood Community College is hosting their second annual High School Art Exhibit featuring artwork from Tuscola High School, Pisgah High School, and the Haywood Early College.

Haywood Community College recognizes the importance of the arts programs in schools and how they can become a large part of our culture and economy as future artists continue to develop in our communities. Often, recognition at high schools is centered around sports activities. This show at the Mary Cornwell Gallery on HCC’s campus is an opportunity for student artwork to be showcased in an art gallery and brought to the community to view and appreciate.

Members of the community can view this show March 28 – April 7, Monday-Friday from 8am – 4pm.

With summer and fall registration now open, students and community members will also be able to view the Sycamore building as part of this gallery show to see where classes are held for the Professional Crafts programs HCC has to offer.
