SBC to Host Business Planning Power Hours for Small Business

 

The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free four-part Business Planning Power Hour virtual learning series. Ready to build your business plan or revisiting your current plan? Short on time and need to brush up on your business planning skills? Join us for a lunch-hour covering business planning tools, tips, tricks and resources. Held Tuesdays, April 6-27, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., topics range from financials and management to resources and market planning.

Sessions will include:

Structure and Resources, April 6

Kick off the virtual learning series as we dive into the core components of the business plan, resources to assist in development and time blocking for successful completion.

Market Plan, April 13

Industry analysis, market analysis, competitive analysis and market strategy development are all essential components of the Market Plan. Resources will be highlighted and shared.

Management, Organization and Operations, April 20

During this session, attendees with dig into two core components of the business plan - Management Structure and Organization and the Operations plan. Learn more about each and resources to assist in development.

Financials, April 27

During the final session in the series, participants will walk through the key financial statements essential to the business plan. This session will also address the basics of creating a financial summary and its importance to the overall business plan. Resources will be highlighted and shared.
