Creating Ceramic Lanterns with Carli

Throughout the duration of this course, students will learn a variety of lantern sculpting and fundamentals. Learnings of this course will include the construction of lanterns, formation of slabs, coil building, and the nature of clay and hand sculpting. This course will allow students to discover and tap into their creative energies with ceramic properties. The materials required for this course are a ceramic toolkit, a twenty-five pound bag of clay, a small bucket, and an old towel.
