Instructor: Christina Bendo

Location: Sycamore Bdg, RM 7221 Tuition: 161.00

During this 5 week class for the seasoned beginner to intermediate student, we will create beautiful and functional hand built tea sets fit for a party!  The teapot is often viewed as the most complicated ceramic form to make due to its many parts that have to be fitted and assembled.  Using pattern drafting, together we will break down the individual components of the teapot, and create cups, saucers, and accessories to match.  Students will choose a theme or surface design for their teaset to tie all the pieces together, and glaze the work so it is ready to brew a cuppa! Cost includes one bag of clay, use of classroom glazes and kiln firing.  Tools are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
