Pottery Around the World: Europe
Instructor: Christina Bendo
Location: Sycamore Bdg, RM 7221
Explore the pottery of Europe and discover the most ancient ceramic objects in existence. Students will make a German Bartmann style jug, and learn about the "white gold" porcelain craze that swept Europe and created a whole new industry. Each class will begin with a short slide presentation about a culture and its pots followed by time for students to make their own pieces inspired by what we have learned.
