Pottery: Swirling Clay

Learn to use colored clays on and off the wheel to create pottery with beautiful swirls and patterns!  We will explore agateware, nerikomi, and millefiori to open up whole new worlds of possibilities for surface design.  This is not a beginner level class; students must have a basic knowledge of throwing and handbuilding with slabs.  Students will be responsible for purchasing their own Mason stains for coloring their clay.
