Embroidery: Portraits & Still Life

Explore and practice a variety of embroidery stitching and applique techniques and apply them to creating a final portrait or still life composition. You will walk away with a one-of-a-kind work of art that can be framed or incorporated into another textile project.
Students are responsible for their own supplies and will need to be purchased from an outside source.
- Embroidery floss thread assortment (based on your chosen subject), about $6
- Embroidery Needles, about $2
- Lightweight canvas, about $2
