Fabric Collage Exploration

Small swatched of bright orange and yellow fabric are sewn together in a visually pleasing fashion. A dark grey border of fabric surrounds the square shaped design.Instructor: Elizabeth Garlington

Location: Oak Building, 1406

This follow‑up workshop is designed for students who have begun an art quilt and are ready to deepen, refine, and expand their work. We will continue exploring hand embroidery, stitching, appliqué, and embellishment while focusing on composition, layering, and surface design. Guided studio time will be paired with gentle group critique and discussion, offering opportunities to share work‑in‑progress, receive supportive feedback, and engage in collective problem‑solving. Bring your in‑progress quilt and join us at the community table as your piece evolves into a more fully realized expression of your story.

We’ll meet every other week for the summer to keep the creativity flowing.
