Knitting: Colorwork Cowl
Instructor: Anilia Hornsby
Location: Sycamore Building, 7105
Have you learned the basics of knitting but been afraid to tackle a larger project? Fear no more! If you know how to knit and purl, you can make anything! We’ll do a mosaic colorwork cowl where you only need to hold one strand at a time. We will also do a few swatches of stranded colorwork so you can give it a try! Join us to learn about choosing color, chart and pattern reading, digital knitting tools, blocking, and more. We will start this class with how to pick a pattern and the yarn for it. Then make swatches to see our color combinations. Each class will have an informational session, questions, and time to knit together. By the end of class, you’ll have a beautiful cowl. We'll be using the Pressed Flowers Cowl pattern by Amy Christoffers.
Students will need to provide their own yarn, patterns, and tools. The instructor will bring samples to explore.
