For each subsequent basket, you will build on that basic knowledge and add a new element or technique. Students can expect to make several in this class. This class will provide you with a variety of skills in both traditional and contemporary basketmaking. No experience is necessary. Cost includes all basket material and patterns. Students should bring a bucket or Rubbermaid® tub for soaking reed, ruler or tape measure, cutting shears, pencil, awl or ice pick, towel and/or apron, spray bottle, utility knife for scraping rims.
