Location: Oak Building, Top Floor

Home canning is both economical and a healthy alternative to processed commerical foods. It can also be very rewarding as it can unite friends, family and the community. You will complete two simple canning projects to take home and enjoy while gaining skills of food preservation that have been passed on among local people for generations. Different seasonal foods are preserved in each season. Students should bring an apron.
