Cultivating the Future: Seed Starting

Location: 250 Depot Street, Waynesville, NC. Tuition: $71.00

This is a one-day class on seed starting, which will teach students how to select seeds for their taste, experience level, and local climate. We will cover various techniques both for starting seeds indoors and directly sowing in the ground. More advanced topics we’ll touch on briefly are understanding hybrids vs. heirloom varieties, seed saving, and regenerative practices. The class will be hands-on and students will leave with their own seed starting kit. Location is off site at Cultivate, 250 Depot St., Waynesville, NC.
