Bringing In The Heat

If you have experience with metal jewelry and are ready to move on to joining metals with heat and cold connections with rivets, this class is for you. Students will explore, practice, and develop a love for joining metals with solder and heat. In this class we expand our skills to joining metals together to create a form and design. How to purchase materials will be part of the lessons of the class and students will purchase their own materials as part of the learning process. The projects in this class are wire bangle, chain bracelet, spinner ring, earrings, and pendant with or without prong set stone. Students will be working with wire and sheet metal, copper or silver, patina or not to patina.
