Instructor: Ilene Kay
Location: Sycamore Building, 7231
Step into the colorful world of enameling and bring your jewelry designs to life! In this fun, hands-on class, you will learn how to prepare copper and explore a variety of exciting techniques, including sgraffito, stencils, rubber stamps, ink, frit, glass stringers, graphics on enamel, and applying decals. Whether you choose from precut shapes or create your own, you'll have plenty of opportunities to make your pieces truly one-of-a-kind. If you have metalsmithing experience, we'll also show you how to set your enamel creations into beautiful, finished jewelry. Come ready to play, experiment, and leave with vibrant pieces you'll be proud to wear or share. Wear closed-toe shoes and pull back long hair.
