Elevate your skills at the jeweler’s bench with this next-level class designed for intermediate and advanced beginner students. Dive into essential techniques like sweat soldering and pick soldering while working on projects such as pendants or a multi-link bracelet. You’ll work with copper and brass, honing your soldering precision and craftsmanship. This is your opportunity to build a solid foundation in jewelry-making, setting the stage for developing your own unique style.
Soldering: You will learn these essential and fundamental skills. This knowledge will open up new and exciting design possibilities.
Skills covered in this class: Sweat soldering, pick soldering, jewelry with multiple solder points, which solder to use and why, jewelry designed with multiple layers, hollow form basics, texturing metal, applying patina.
