The Instructional Design and Online Learning department provides online learning support for students, faculty, and staff. Instruction at Haywood Community College includes access to various digital learning tools, platforms, and resources.
Online Instruction at HCC
Information on how to resolve questions about a particular online or web-assisted course is available in the course’s syllabus.
Information on HCC’s fully online programs is available through the program contact or HCC’s success coaches.
Information on which courses are provided online each semester is available under Students > Course Schedules.
Log In to Moodle
Moodle is HCC’s online learning platform. It can be accessed by selecting the image below and through links provided in the HCC Portal. Instructions for logging in are found on the log in page.
When to Access Courses
New student accounts are generated within 24-48 hours after registering for classes.
Several student resource “courses” will be available upon login.
All courses will be visible at 8:00 AM on the course’s start date. Course start dates vary, so be sure to check course schedules in WebAdvisor.
